Markus Schinwald /Austria/
installation (upside down)

Stage Matrix III is the last installment in a performance series involving different dimensions of stage elements. The initial construction was a discreet interplay between performer and a variety of furniture, the second, an interaction with an animate wall. The most recent  production, premiered here at Playground, turns gravity on its head. In reference to the Trompe-l´œil effects found in Baroque ceilings, the performer focuses his actions on what is above, a kind of common man´s ex machina.
