Gundega Laivina

Gundega Laivina has been working as an arts manager for eight years and is currently running the New Theatre Institute of Latvia – an NGO which operates in the sphere of information, training, international collaboration and artistic production. The “trademark” of the NTIL is the International Festival of Contemporary Theatre Homo Novus which takes place in Riga every second year. Since 2007 the NTIL in collaboration with the Latvian Arts Academy curates Latvian national and students’ exhibition in PQ. Besides her work in the NTIL, Gundega Laivina runs the Association of NGOs for Contemporary Culture and is completing her MA thesis in social anthropology.
